Music Stuff
Long story short, check out my YouTube! Currently: Jazz vocals. Classically trained pianist, former radio host, former tuba player, melodica and accordion enthusiast. I took 6 organ lessons.
Short story long, read on. I still remember getting a piano in the house when I was 3. I begged my mom for lessons and a few years later, she obliged. I took up trombone at age 10, tuba at 12, and organ at 15. I studied classical piano and classical tuba at an arts high school, and was accepted into conservatories including the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University.
Life took me in other directions and I ultimately pursued a Cognitive Science degree at the University of Virginia, where I also took up choral singing as a member of the University Singers and the University Chamber Singers. I also co-founded a choir with some of my friends because life always needs more music.
I now study and perform jazz in my spare time in the beautiful city of Philadelphia.
